hello,
i thought id make this a little more personal, like im writing specifically to you.
im in a reasonably good mood :)
im listening to this band on myspace called Holden, Sophie showed me them
http://www.myspace.com/holdenband
check them out, theyre really good sound like a DIY paramore, my favourite song is dont lean too far forwards, it has a simple yet effective sound :) and the vocals are good :) and lyrically its good :)
so...
today, today was a half day at school, because its open day, being in year 13 i dont have to go back in at all and i get tomorrow off school tomorrow, which is good :)
i feel i keep saying the word "good" too much damn
anyway.
i didnt really learn much at all biology trundled on like no tomorrow, i love my biology teachers its just... i never seem to retain anything they ever teach me for long enouhgh, i do try to, and i enjoy the lesson, i just get disheartened when my test papers come back as "E".. but such is life eh? i hold onto the fact that unlike 99% of my year i dont think success comes from pieces of paper, i feel determining your life by pieces of paper, like exam results and marriage is an unecessary way to attain happiness. i believe happiness is having enough money to fulfill your life the way you want, and enjoy yourself, this may mean being a dustman or scientist, as long as you have the time to do what you want, spend time with friends and family i know i would be happy and i dont mind what i would do. Ive never been money orrientated, this might be why ive only had one job, and this may all be as a result of bitterness for the AS i results i got in the summer gone.. who knows. :)
dont get me wrong i do plan on working, and going to university, as long as i enjoy it, if i dont i will change what im doing.
i guess aswel, that this may also link into the reason i want to study art, art cant be judged, art is art, art is a perception, it cant be wrong, and if i can make a living out of that, then that would be amazing. ill probably end up at a desk job for some insurance company chugging down 15 cups of instant coffee wondering where my life went wrong which in turn make the whole direction of this blog entirely irrelevant.
But i can dream right?
...
So right now, i sit here, in my living room, my house is empty, i have my dog starring at me, him and i dont see eye to eye, im more of a cat person myself, although willis (one of my two cats) has buggered off to sit on the sofa whilst i sit on one of the one seater seats. the only thing dogs have over cats are that they are loyal... maybe with my biological knowledge ill compose a cat dog hybrid with sophistication and cuteness of a cat with the loyalty of a dog...
maybe im just mad?
as i sit in this chair it reminds me of a thought that frequently occurs in my mind, the idea of ever leaving this house. i cant imagine it, ive had so many christmas' (17 this year) and every birthday in this house, so many memories intrinsically sewn into the very foundations of this house's history. i know that if my family were to move that the family or people afterwards would never cherish these four walls as much as i do. i can atleast find satisfaction in the fact that in say 50 years this house will probably be here, and maybe one day ill come visit. i think it would be rude not to? this house is like part of the family in a way, its been here through so many things.
im just thinking out loud.
times change people change nothing stays the same, but things can get better :)
i hope i didnt seem too melancholy :)
and that youre okay
ill probably write again later

for some reason that line reminded me of one in the crow.. i don't know if you've seen that movie.. but it's awesome.
"buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."
yeah.
i'm very jealous of how attached to your home you are.. :)
i live in my mum's house, but it's not home to me.. :/ lols..
just thought i'd throw that in there!x
no i havent but i want to, is it a good film? that line sounds jolly XD
i guess in a way im lucky, maybe in time yours will become a home.

I like the new writing style!
And I'm also very pleased that you like Holden, I never really had to think about liking them but because they're my friends I get really proud when other people like them too :)
By the time I was in your year at school I was so fed up, it just felt like I was ready to leave and I had to stay to do my A levels. i just got more and more frustrated towards the end. It's a good thing college is nothing like school...
I'm more of a cat person myself as well, for me cats are just easier to deal with and my cat's pretty affectionate so I spend a lot more time with her than I do with my dogs. I think cats are cleverer than dogs as well.
I'm kinda jealous of your link to your house too. I've never lived in the same place for more than 4 years, so nowhere really feels like home to me. I've had 8 houses now, I've never really had time to get used to anywhere.
Keep posting, love reading your stuff :)

why thank you :)
yeah i thought theyre really good, really raw and fresh, theyre good to hear.
you make it sound like youre a lot older than me!, yeah sometimes i regret sixth form, and im feeling pretty fed up and with everything that has gone on ive been offered to retake the year if i muck everything up, which means idve been here 8 years by the time im finished T.T
i think cats are in a way more stuck up, because dogs i find are incredibly dependant, and in a way i guess that is what i dont like about them, my cats are fairly independant, and if they dont want to be picked up or they dont want attention they let you know about it, i guess thats why i like them more...
8?! jesus. the advantage to moving is you dont get too attached so when you do move out it wont be too difficult, i worry about that day. not massively i just wonder how ill cope.
aw thank you :) yours is really good too! i love reading yours too!

Aha well only ...10 and a half months? I think you said your birthday was the end of january...
Not so much older then :)
Yeah both my dogs are kind of boisterous as well, so they kind of get on my nerves sometimes as well. But my cat's not like that.
I can't wait to move out, I've got 2 brothers and a sister so my house is pretty hectic. Are you an only child?
Hope you're having a good evening (actually you may well be in bed right now)...

your house sounds like a menagerie, wow, you must live in a massive house.
no im not an only child, i have an older brother whose 20, we dont really get along, and he's usually out working or with his girlfriend, so that suits me to the ground.
thank you :) no im awake, probably will be for a couple more hours, i hope your evening is okay too :)
