Vol.3

Bonjour.

Vermilion. It had the most profound affect on my life.
it's one of the most morbid songs i've ever listened to
i found comfort through empathy. it makes me smile now and again
the tone, the anger, the raw emotion, the lyrical poetry constructed together with the thumping dark imagery portrayed by harsh vocals and down-tuned guitars.

"I'm a slave and i am a master
No restraints, and unchecked collectors
I exist through my need to self oblige
She is something in me that i despise"

to me this song is perfect. and i dont say it much. i remember at around the age of 15 sitting on the floor in my room depressed (my floor space was bigger then) staring at the wall listening to this on my mp3 player with shivers down my spine, depressed. i spent a lot of time like this. but that song made it something else.

in a way for a time i became eerily obsessed with the album that song was on. but that song had the strongest affect on me.

In a way its a slightly unusual song too, especially seeing as i dont really listen to that type of music anymore, but i still love that song.
