I'm watching The Ashes.

for those who don't know what that is, it's the most famous Cricket competition in the world.
the only problem is, is it's in Australia, hense why it's on at this time. 64/3 at the moment.



Anyway, i quite possibly had the greatest evening for quite some time.
Sure the catered food here is still shite, i had some weird sweet and sour spaghetti thing, the joys of being a vegetarian.. *frown* and sure i had to take my posters down for a re-room-inspection tomorrow which will wake me up at an ungodly hour... but it was made much better by my 45 minute phone call with a miss Daryl Jones, i seriously don't laugh as much with anyone as i do with her, that's not to say i'm a miserable sod who has nothing interesting in life. (well...) but gah she makes me smile, i can't wait until go over to see her/she comes over. with Devendra Banhart times..

Tomorrow i get my christmas tree and advent calender from home, my parents posted it. I can't believe it is actually December, I'm 19 next month, and that kinda scares me, being 16 was pretty sweet, tbh it was the best age for me, even with the incomprehensible depression, but hey i liked being a kid. I'm not really adjusted to being an adult yet, most because i've spent 17/18th of my life being a kid. The responsibilities i have right now and the independance i have i wouldn't trade for the world, i think it'll be hard to revert back to having 'rules' with my parents. but hey i miss them.





It's weird next month, (being 2011) i will be looking for my first house, moving in with friends, and having to pay bills and shiz, it's daunting but another step i suppose, i like growing up, even if it does scare me, especially with the stress of having a university degree on top of it. but i'm coping.

i just need to remember to get a repeat perscription tomorrow. :)
