well today, is my penultimate day at home, before i go back. my room is disgustingly messy, like me, mainly because i just had a shower, and im only wearing pajama bottoms;
However, today i was meant to start packing, but i woke up at 1:30pm. i'm going to my best friends house at 6, to watch films and eat pizza and go to tesco :') i love tesco's a little to much, especially seeing as it's just a food store. hahaha.
i think we're going to watch Toy Story 3, that film sums up our generation perfectly i feel. the first one started when we were 4, when as children our lives really start, where we meet people and such. The third one, is very similar where we start our adult lives with new people, with the end of a chapter in our lives, the fact the 3rd toy story film came out when we were 18 is such a creepy coincidence.
Part of me never wants to leave being a child. By child i mean teenager. You see these programmes on tv, like Skins, Inbetweeners, Made, and all the other ones people my age watch, because they can link themselves to the characters, but i'm getting older than these characters, i feel like i'm being ripped away from my childhood in a way.
The biggest psychological step i had to do, has already happened, that was moving to uni, that was the hardest thing i've done, move away from my friends, and make new ones, (whilst trying to keep the old ones) but it makes you feel so alone most of the time, being 'inbetween friends'.
I'm so glad i do a subject that helps me lose myself, i'd hate it at uni otherwise.
It's my 19th birthday in 16 days, i'm not thinking too much of it, to me it's a number. We spend too much time, wishing time away, that when our age changes significantly like a birthday (when we grow older every second without much care) people are scared/astonished etc. i think 20 is going to hit me really hard,
I'm TWENTY next year.
i need to do some growing up.
