Our theme was Transformation/Alter Ego, so i transformed a bunch of objects which have a use, bind them together to make a fresh object which is fragile which at any point can collapse like a fresh idea in your mind, constricting this idea with a perimetre of tape constricting this piece to what it is apart from the separate chair which resembles the growth of experimentation, and thus furthering transformation...
... it's just a bunch of stuff at the end of the day isn't it?
i'm exhibiting a final version next week, i have 3 made already i need to do a further 7 or so.
After the morning half of the four hours, i felt lost without concepts and came back to find i failed room inspection, which means they need to reinspect, if i fail again i dont know what happens. IT feels sometimes that university scrutinises everything you do, say, everything, it's mentally exhausting, a bit like this blog, you poor all your thoughts and emotions into one thing and showcase it off, hoping people can be empathetic towards your ideas and perspectives. i guess that's why i havent been posting much lately, exhaustion.
the day continued for me to find out that my two friends coming over this weekend, probably wont be coming, and that we're only getting a shitiful (shit + pitiful) amount of snow tonight (last night) when everywhere in the UK has loaaaaads. :/
But it got better today a bit, I love Contemporary Art Theory, learning about how language, text and psychoanalysis affects artist ideology. Again this takes a lot of thought power, but i'm enjoying being tested everyday.
Right now, i have 2 hours and 45 mins until i need to leave for Art History 1, which is actually quite easy. Good times :)
Check out Danger Days, i'm loving the few songs i have!
